Pilanesberg National Park, South Africa’s fourth-largest game park, is uniquely situated in the crater of an extinct volcano in the Bojanala Region of the North West Province. This ancient volcanic crater, formed millions of years ago, offers one of the most captivating and diverse landscapes in the country. Thanks to the ambitious Genesis Project, the Pilanesberg Game Reserve now hosts a majority of South Africa’s iconic wildlife species. This stunning park is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts seeking an unparalleled safari experience amidst a geological wonder.
