Day 1
Greater Kruger Park
We depart Johannesburg as we make our way to the Greater Kruger National Park where our safari adventure begins. After travelling through the Highveld farmlands, we descend the Drakensberg escarpment and into the Lowveld, home to some of the most pristine private game reserves in South Africa, and the world-renowned Kruger National Park. We arrive at Thornhill Safari Lodge in time for a delicious lunch.
After some relaxation time, we venture out on a late afternoon/evening Big Five game drive in open 4x4 safari vehicles in one of the neighbouring private reserves. We take a break for sundowner drinks and snacks at one of the waterholes en route, enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the African bushveld, before continuing our game drive into the night.

Day 2
Kruger National Park
Prepare for an early start as your guide greets you with a steaming cup of coffee, signalling the beginning of an exciting day of discovery in the renowned Kruger National Park. As the flagship of South Africa's national parks, Kruger boasts an impressive array of species, including 517 bird species and 146 mammals.
Anticipation builds as you enter the park, setting the stage for an unforgettable safari experience. Traverse diverse landscapes and encounter an astonishing variety of wildlife, birds, plants, and trees as you journey along the park's best game drive routes. Pause at a secluded picnic site to savour a delicious breakfast before resuming your safari, immersing yourself in the unspoiled, untamed wilderness that defines Kruger Park.

Day 4
Nature Walk & Blyde Canyon to Johannesburg
Embrace the early morning as we set out on a captivating game walk, exploring the reserve on foot. Our knowledgeable field guides will ignite your curiosity with fascinating facts about the environment and the diverse inhabitants that surround you. After a delightful breakfast, we bid you farewell as you continue your journey back to Johannesburg. Along the scenic route, we ascend the stunning Drakensberg escarpment, pausing to admire the breath-taking Blyde River Canyon and the iconic Three Rondavels.
